Automotive coolant concentrate. The concentrate exceeds the requirements of the British Standard BS 6580 for coolants for petrol and diesel engines in cars and trucks. Made from premium mono-ethylene glycol and a modern generation of corrosion inhibitors. The concentrate contains a revitaliser. Why does XADO Antifreeze BS contain revitaliser? The most important and expensive component of a car's cooling system is the pump. It helps circulate the coolant. The "weakest" part of the pump is the bearing. It is protected from the coolant by a sealing gasket (gland). If the seal is damaged, antifreeze will enter the bearing and cause the pump to fail. The revitaliser in XADO Antifreeze Blue BS protects the pump and ensures that it will last twice as long in emergency situations compared to antifreeze without revitaliser. Technical information:Antifreeze Blue BS concentrate should be diluted with distilled or tap water before use. The ratio of XADO Antifreeze Blue BS to water depends on the minimum operating temperature of the vehicle. The concentrate is used and mixed with standard automotive coolants (blue) based on ethylene glycol.
