Description
Castrol Transmax Z is a fully stable, fully synthetic automatic transmission fluid with synthetic base stocks and innovative additive technology, used in both automotive and commercial vehicles.
Castrol Transmax Z has excellent cold flow properties for responsiveness and smoother gear changes at all ambient temperatures and load conditions.
Castrol Transmax Z has outstanding high temperature performance with superior oxidative and thermal stability for excellent transmission cleanliness and durability, allowing extended drain intervals and reduced maintenance. Optimised friction characteristics can help improve fuel economy, reduce power losses and lower operating temperatures.
Product application

Castrol Transmax Z can be recommended for use in most automotive and commercial vehicles with automatic transmissions, including those fitted with interfaces or retarders, and with the ability to extend the drain interval to 120,000 km ZF Ecomat, MB AT and Voith AT.
Castrol Transmax Z can be used when specified for SAE 70W-80, API GL-3 / GL-4 or Dexron III, IIE or IID.
Castrol Transmax Z has been shown to reduce the temperature of automatic transmission fluids by up to 200°C under severe conditions.

Note: Castrol Transmax Z is not recommended where Ford M2C-33F or G fluids are specified.
